Therapy tip
Now I know not everyone is keen on using food as part of a reward system in therapy. This one passes our criteria and that of the parents who attend the clinic.
Drumroll!
It’s a popcorn maker and bag of Popping corn. Set up your activity and targets. Give the child a paper bag and have a bag of popping corn ready to go. Throughout the session each time they produce their target give them one piece of popping corn to put in their bag. At the end of the session, you can put the corn in a popcorn machine (if you have one) or in the microwave. Even with a session that yields a high number of production the bag of popcorn is only snack size. Great outcome for everyone. So add a Popcorn Maker to your next resource list.
